Downtown Olympic Preparations

Downtown is showing more signs that the olympics are coming to town. I enjoyed meeting with Mr. Nucci again last night. I spent a long time downtown last night taking in the sights and sounds of Vancouver on a Saturday night. Vancouver’s nightlife for the college aged crowd is centered around Granville Street. I spent a bit of time taking pictures there and eventually moved down to the waterfront. Here are some Photos.

Best Wishes!

  1. Hello Tucker, My name is Sky Kanott and I am currently working as an intern in the Office of Public Relations for WCU. I have recently been assigned to write a feature story about your spectacular experience at the Olympics and I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me.

What year are you at WCU?

    Where are you from?

How many internships have you done in all?

Did you ever think you would be working with CTV?

    When is the Olympics?

What is your major at WCU?

    What is your email address?

These are only a few to get me started on your story. Also if you have anything else you would like to say about your experience please feel free to include that as well. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time.

Hey Tucker! Dad, Mom, Bob Byrd, and I went to the
WC vs. Davidson Game. It was a good game and as you
know WC won!!!! I spent the night in your room- Thank
you!! I am glad that you are having a good time and
making some great contacts. Hope you and Dad John can
come down to the coast and go fishing this spring when
the Spanish Mackeral and King Mackerals make their
appearance! It would be interesting to know if the
Canadians have heard much about North Carolina especially Wrightsville Beach Ha!!!! John
