Today was very successful. I woke up around 5:30 and headed to work shortly after. Two new interns started today and I helped them get settled in. At noon we had a newsroom meeting with nearly 300 people from across Canada. At the meeting was Canadian Silver Medalist Elizabeth Manley. She was very sweet and had a big smile on her face. We were introduced to some amazing promos, a similar one of which can be found at the following link.
It brought the whole room goosebumps and their was a large round of applause afterwords. Here is a picture of the group during the meeting.

The buildings are spruced up with Graphics. You can notice the line in the center of the photo, these are a zipline that crosses Robson Square. Below the dome at the bottom of the picture is an area where people can skate for free. This will be a hub of excitement during the games with lots of free entertainment.
This trolley is new to the city. You can see that world wide sponsor Samsung is really trying to get their name out.
